The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites, experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, and a deep understanding of WordPress and its capabilities.
This position has a hybrid setup, so you can choose to work three days from home and two days in the office.
Requirements
• Proven experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
• Understanding of UX design principles
• Very good knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Experience with Responsive Web Design and cross-browser compatibility
• Knowledge of WordPress, including theme customization and child theme development
• Experience working with Gutenberg and other WordPress Block Editors
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a team environment
Responsibilities
• Design the user interface for WordPress websites
• Ensure all designs are responsive and optimized for multiple devices
• Stay up-to-date with current web design trends and technologies
• Develop and customize WordPress child themes and plugins to enhance the functionality and appearance of our websites.
• Troubleshoot and fix any technical issues that may arise during the development process
Considered a Plus
• Experience with logo design and branding
• Ability to create wireframes and prototypes
• Experience with PHP development
• Experience using JavaScript Libraries
• Understanding of website performance optimization techniques
